Will, Labor, Materialism

In any perceptual process, including Interpretation and Contemplation, something external to the perceiver is internalized in them. The Everse of Perception, whereby an internal datum, e. g. a Concept, is externalized, is Will. Now, occasionally, that externalization is characterized as 'materialization'. Even given the casualness of the latter, it is an indication that Marx uncritically accepts Matter as given, rather than as the product of a more fundamental process. Accordingly, insofar as Labor is an expression of Will, it transcends Materialism.
