Ideology, Eternity, History

Marx surpasses Feuerbach by recognizing Theology as Ideology, in which power relations are codified by concepts such as Omnipotence and Eternity.  But, as has been previously discussed, the Necessity of Dialectical Materialism is, similarly, Force disguised as Concept.  The contrast with Spinoza exposes the shortcoming in Marx's thinking.  While a Mode in the Pantheism of the former is commonly taken to submerge itself in the Necessity of God/Nature, what Spinoza is actually explaining is how it harnesses the power of the latter, e. g. fire.  In contrast, Marx offers no such explanation, leaving the Proletariat as submissive to the omnipotence of History as it had been to that of Eternity.
