Globalization and Species-Being

Despite standard jingoist political propaganda, the ubiquity of the World Wide Web is one indication that Global-Consciousness is no longer an abstract or teleological dream, but a concrete, even if incomplete, reality.  Likewise, the inhabitants of this Cosmopolity are, transcending all previous particularities, 'Humans'.  Thus, Species-Being is no longer a Biological concept, but a Political one, as well.  Similarly, it, not 'Reason', 'Spirit', 'Will', etc., is revealed as the fundamental principle of History.
